Winch Drives

Winch drives come in 17 sizes with a FEM (L2 T5 M5) torque ranging between 5,000 Nm - 118,000 Nm.

Special solutions are also available for torque values of up to 300,000 Nm. This category includes rotating case gearboxes designed to fi t inside a winch drum. To ensure isostatic load distribution on the winch, the gearbox is designed with a single supporting bearing. The external negative static brake facilitates maintenance as required in marine applications. Several models have DNV type approval. Design type approval from all other major rating organizations is available on request.
